Random stuffs 10th
Xin chào / Hello / Здравствуйте!
I am so back with the tenth entry of Random stuffs, which belongs to May 2026!
I am late, sure, but LATE FOR 3 DAYS?? I will explain shortly after.
Where have I gone?
Have you read the «Things in my life currently» entry, you shall know that I was going to get 3 (three) insane exams which could literally decide my future.
«You bring on this because you have done the exams, don't you?» Yes. The exams were... um... I'm not sure... The Literature one was sure hell but it wasn't as bad as I thought previously; the English one was easy as hell so I don't really care; the Maths one, though, was pretty interesting... as hell.
So, to conclude this, I'd say, yeah they were easy! I was nervous but I'm not scared! Oh they just have dropped the answers.
Reading the answers...
...
Ok maybe I'm scared.
What I'm doing next, then?
As I've gone through the exam, now I'M TRULY FREE, FREE!
So I've got some plans todo during the summer holiday. Firstly, I plan to renovate this website's main page. You can check it out here (in case the link is unavailable, that means the changes were applied!). Apart from links to my blog and other projects, there will be also another section on the main page: Daily Stuffs. It will, like, have daily chess puzzle (from Lichess), random facts and events on that date, perhaps also news from Wikipedia??
Secondly, I also plan to open a private anarchy server for my friends. Yeah, a private server. I'm afraid my connection is not that good. I mean, it is pretty fast, but my router just disconnects sometimes, like uhhhh. Also, I may go to places and bring my laptop there, and I'm not sure the interent there will be fasst or safe, but nevermind.
Thirdly, you guys know that I also learn Russian, don't you? Well, it's time I pick up where I left.
Fourthly, um, is it «»
And finally, of course my bloody programming projects, alongside learning more programming languages, of course...
By the way, one project is going to be SPECIAL, SPECIAL.
SpeaksHalf
Người khôn ăn nói nửa chừng, để cho kẻ dại nửa mừng nửa lo.
This is a Vietnamese idiom that, whilst I'm not sure if it's real (though for its popularity, that doesn't really matter), really inspires me into building a game: SpeaksHalf.
SpeaksHalf is going to be a game where you write a sentence, the system strips parts of it, and then the next person guesses the original sentence and write another one based on your sentence. More precisely, these are the rules:
- A player writes something, a sentence, a paragraph, a masterpiece;
- The system strips parts (usually half) of it and pass it to the next player;
- They then guess what the original sentence is, based on the remaining words, and continue the story, conversation, or whatever the first one wrote;
- The cycle repeats until it reaches the first player again. Then, everyone can see the entire story, conversation, or whatever the first player wrote in the first place, the text which could have sounded better were the system not to embezzle words. (Yes, you heard it right, «embezzle words». I couldn't believe which kind of system would do that...)
This sounds like a cool game, doesn't it? Though, you can only play in private rooms. I planned to allow public rooms, but maybe that's for later.
The game is going to release before my birthday (15 September). Test version will also be released.
Anyway, I think we should move on to other topics. Oh, it sounds like I was going to end the entry, haha.
The new Ebola epidemic
I've covered the Hanta Outbreak in the previous entry. By now it has become less of a trending topic now. But I'm here to present another outbreak, no, an EPI[C]demic: 2026 Central Africa Ebola epidemic.
Apparently, Ebola has recently spread in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. The outbreak is caused by Bundibugyo ebolavirus, which, as its name and what it does suggest, can cause ebola disease in human. Acordding to Wikipedia, «It is the 17th Ebola outbreak in DRC and only five months after the end of the previous outbreak». As of 1 June 2026, 6 people have recovered while 49 people died. The number of confirmed cases is 330.
Well, there have been many ebola outbreaks in the past. Similar to diseases caused by the hantaviruses, however, the Ebola outbreaks have had a very high mortality rate, which can be up to 90%.
Since there isn't any Plauge Inc. official scenario about Ebola, so, uhh I'm not sure if it has high infectivity or not, but ChatGPT told me that it didn't, and the epidemic is in the central of Africa anyway, so we should be safe!
Want more, alright bet!
How France celebrates football victory
As you may know, after the Paris Saint-Germain FC won the Champions League final against Arsenal, football fans have flooded Paris, some of whom started doing things what a 2B2T player loves to do, such as setting vehicles on fire, exploding stuff, clashing with the police, looting buildings, etc.
Acordding to France 24, one person has lost their life whilst dozens of other have been detained. 8 out of 219 injuries are also serious cases.
The mayor of Paris' 8th district, where 20 thousands people have gathered on the Champs-Élysées avenue, stated that the «avenue and its surroundings [...] became an arena of urban guerrilla warfare». She (?) also called for «zero gatherings», saying that it is «the only common sense response», as «it has become impossible to celebrate a match without descending into riots».
In my opinion, this is such a French thing. French people will do their best in anything, rioting, protesting, etc. whatever but defending their country against invaders. My apology if I'm being rude, but yeah what I've said isn't wrong (or is it?) In Vietnam, people also love gathering for celebrating after winning a football championship but they do NOT go this wild.
Well, in any case, we can conclude that Paris is the City of Love during the day, and of Riots at night (oh wait apparently they riot anytime).
That's also the conclusion of this Random stuffs entry then.
